WADI is an inexpensive and easy to use device that monitors the progress of solar water purification
in a PET bottle as it makes it fit for human consumption.
Solar purification is a simple procedure by which to purify water. Contaminated water is filled into a transparent PET bottle and exposed to sunlight. The water must be relatively clear prior to treatment and the bottles must be clean and unscratched.
Solar water disinfection is approved by the UN and WHO for being the simplest and cheapest water purification system.

WADI requires relatively clear water - remove mud and sand
WADI cannot remove chemical substances (organic/inorganic)
WADI is designed to treat water in standard PET bottles up to 3 L volume
